'No Man's Land' - Multiplayer Modes Part 2 & Screens

by Rainier on Aug. 21, 2003 @ 1:26 p.m. PDT

Last week we had No Mans Land multiplayer part 1, and now we have part 2 giving more details on the "Eliminate Heroes" and the "King Of The Hill" multiplayer modes. Read more for some new screens ...

The "Eliminate Heroes" mode is pure fun as the players have to hunt down the enemies' heroes to win the game. The heroes are always visible on the map, to prevent a hide and seek game and to make this mode even more interesting. This is why a good defence is the key in the "Eliminate Heroes" mode.

In the "King of the Hill" mode you will have to conquer flags and hold them as long as possible to gain points. This sounds easy, but you'll have a limited amount of troops and your men can't be everywhere. This means that the "King of the Hill" mode is a logistical challenge as well as a tactical one. Another nice feature which adds another level of fun to all modes is the fact that forts can be conquered and re-conquered during a multiplayer-session. So it's likely that the owner of a fort is changing several times throughout a session.
