There is no cost to sign up at Ultimate Arena, and there is no cost to participate in the "Beat Fatal1ty" contest. Sign ups at www.ultimatearena.com open Tuesday, August 26, 2003, and matches will be held on four consecutive Thursday nights beginning August 28. Any player who successfully defeats Fatal1ty during the "Beat Fatal1ty!" event will be awarded $100 in prize money from Ultimate Arena. In addition, the five players who earn the most "frags" against Fatal1ty in the contest will earn a combined $250. Players will be matched up against Fatal1ty in 7-minute free-for-all matches. Ultimate Arena will assign time slots to players on a first-come first-serve basis.

Players of all skill levels are welcome to compete against one another to win cash at Ultimate Arena. Cash prizes for a tournament are determined by its entry fee which may be as low as 50 cents.
