Get ready to race and rage with some of today's hottest stars when Xbox Live walks the red carpet at this year's Sundance Film Festival between January 16 and 23. After attending the Sundance premieres of films like "The Butterfly Effect" and "Saved," popular celebrities will be logging onto Xbox Live with special "Sundance" gamertags throughout the day to challenge gamers to rounds of Project Gotham Racing 2 and Amped 2.

The annual Sundance Film Festival, a major program of Sundance Institute, is held each January and is considered the premier showcase for American and international independent film. The Institute supports non-fiction filmmakers through the Documentary Film Program by providing year-round support through the Sundance Documentary Fund and a series of programs that nurture their growth, encourage the exploration of innovative nonfiction storytelling and promote the exhibition of documentary films to a broader audience.

Xbox Live, which launched in the United States Nov. 15, 2002, allows gamers to play multiplayer Xbox games with other gamers worldwide via a broadband connection. With a built-in hard drive and Ethernet port, the Xbox console is the only video game system built from the ground up for online gaming. Xbox Live enables gamers to easily find their friends; talk to other players during gameplay through the Xbox Communicator headset; download current statistics and new levels and characters to their Xbox hard drive; and play online -- all exclusive features to Xbox Live.
