Project Minerva will be a worthy entrant to this competitive genre having been a top selling title in its home territory. Midas have already started to tease the European market with details of this title which is due to hit the shelves in October of this year.
There is certainly no sign of Midas relinquishing their status at the forefront of the PlayStation 2 budget market with five key new releases being exhibited.
The first showing of the two titles commissioned from leading British developer Kuju are sure to receive a lot of attention. GT-R 400 is a glorious sports car racing simulation set for release in Q2 of 2004 and this will be supported by Midas' most expansive marketing plan ever for a budget release.
The second Kuju developed title is to be officially unveiled as Crescent Suzuki Racing: Superbikes and Super side cars. The addition of quality licenses, such as Crescent Suzuki, to this superior budget title further shows Midas' commitment to take budget games to a new plane.
The three additional PlayStation 2 budget games on display will be Football Generation (Q3 2004), Steel Dragon Ex (Q3 2004) and the world-wide premiere of Pacific Warriors II: Dogfight, a world war II flight combat game set for release in Q4 of 2004.
