GameSpy is reporting that EA has cancelled their Ultima universe based MMOG, Ultima X: Odyssey. Reason for the axing is so that EA can concentrate on current projects and a new, yet unannounced, expansion pack. No layoffs have been made, the staff will get merged into existing Ultima Online projects. Read more about it over at Gamespy...
