In Half-Life 2 you again pick up the crowbar of research scientist Gordon Freeman, who finds himself on an alien-infested Earth being picked to the bone, its resources depleted, its populace dwindling.
Right around the same time, Valve will also be releasing the source code to Half-Life 2: Deathmatch in the SDK.
This release will happen some time next week (they're shooting for Thursday the 17th). And just a quick note for those of you who have been asking -- yes, VAC 2 is coming.
