Got Game Entertainment today announced that it has reached a co-publishing agreement with Merscom to bring "Laser Squad Nemesis" for PC to North American retail. Developed by brothers Nick and Julian Gollop, the team behind the "X-Com" games, Laser Squad Nemesis is a tactical warfare game which combines a unique and innovative turn-based combat system with the action of real-time strategy games.

This North American retail version will include 20+ missions in 4 single campaigns, a free 3 months subscription to additional online campaigns and updates, as well as an extended and detailed manual.

Players can utilize the "test orders" function to fine-tune strategies, as well as rewind, pause or review games using the "Laser Squad Nemesis" video-style controls. Other key features of this addictive strategy game include destructible terrain, map creator, challenging missions, and a thriving online community with tournaments, competitions, and world league rankings.

"Fans of ‘X-Com’, turn-based and tactical warfare games will definitely soon have a new obsession with the release of ‘Laser Squad Nemesis’", said Got Game President Howard Horowitz.

The game is scheduled for release April 7, 2005 and will retail for $19.99 (USD). "Laser Squad Nemesis" is rated T for Teen by the ESRB for Blood and Violence.
