'Blitz: The League' (PS2/Xbox) Cheerleaders Exposed - Screens

by Rainier on April 2, 2005 @ 1:20 p.m. PST

Blitz: The League exposes the harsh realism and troubling, behind-the-scenes stories of a fictional professional football league. Blitz: The League is being developed by Midway's Chicago in collaboration with a writer from ESPN's controversial "Playmakers" TV series. Blitz: The League goes behind the glitz and glamour of the game through a revolutionary campaign mode that explores the on-field violence, off-field fallout and front-office politics of professional football.

"Midway's Chicago studio has laid the foundation over the past year for what is the ultimate alternative to watered down NFL sanctioned football games," said Steve Allison, chief marketing officer, Midway. "No longer bound to the NFL license, there will be no league restrictions on content and gamers will finally experience what makes playing a football videogame really fun: off-field controversies, dirty hits, excessive celebrations and much more. Blitz: The League buyers will be assured of one thing - our game will include all the gameplay and fun the NFL won't allow."

The sun was hot, the location in South Beach was sweet and the 12 FHM girls chosen to be cheerleaders in Midway’s upcoming football game, Blitz: The League, were working hard! Each girl participated in a two-day photo extravaganza in beautiful Miami Beach that will soon produce both several features in upcoming issues of FHM (think "Hometown Honeys" & "My Ex-Girlfriend" features) and also their very own character models in the upcoming Blitz: The League videogame which is due out Winter 2005 for the PlayStation2 and the Xbox.

Without further ado, check out a few of the photo highlights from the 2,000+ film exposures, 21 hours of hard work and at least 16 different bikini changes, and remember, each of these girls will be cheering for YOU when you step between the lines.
