In this online world, you take on the role of a character from one of three European seafaring nations (Portugal, Spain, England, with more to follow). From your base country you may choose the path of the adventurer, the merchant, or the soldier and make your fortune on the seas.

At the beginning of play, your activity is centered in your base country, where you plan your quest for new ports of call and goods to trade. As you learn to navigate the seas, you’ll hone your sailing abilities on progressively stronger and faster ships. You’ll also sell your goods, and defend against pirate attacks.

From the castle gate or seaside dock, to territories well into the interior, the world of Uncharted Waters is rich with possibilities for adventure!

FEATURES

I. Live freely as a seafarer on the oceans of the world!

Initially you’ll choose from three basic jobs: Adventurer, Merchant, or Soldier. As you accumulate experience, you’ll be able to choose from more than 50 different occupations. Here’s a brief introduction of the three basic jobs:

• Adventurer
  • Set sail on the vast oceans and make a name for yourself! Find grand ruins, enticing treasures, unknown life forms, and natural wonders. Innumerable puzzles are hidden in this wide world rendered in full 3D. Band with other adventurers to pursue fame and glory!
• Merchant
  • Sell your wares, and make a fortune! There are hundreds of kinds of merchandise you can sell. The merchant trade will shape the economy of your online world. Forge trade alliances in distant ports of call on behalf of the motherland, create favorable trade conditions, and find new kinds of items to barter or sell.
• Soldier
  • Navigate the oceans, and fight bravely! Once you ship out, you’ll find that the seas – crowded with pirates - can be a very dangerous place. Defend adventurers and merchants from dastardly pirates or join other online players to become pirates yourselves!

II. Seafaring nations of Europe become the starting point for your adventure!

Portugal, Spain, England… The stories vary by country! Fulfill the requests of the guilds (your objective in the game), report your discoveries, and make a name for yourself as an adventurer. Forge valuable relationships to increase the number of allied ports in neighboring countries. Once you receive your sailing orders from the king, it becomes your duty to pioneer the uncharted territories of the globe. In unfamiliar cityscapes of distant nations you will find rare items for trade, encounter hidden ruins, and discover buried treasure. Beware of merciless pirate armadas, storms, and many more dangers and delights in this thrilling journey. When a great sea battle takes place on the orders of the king, victory or defeat will recast the balance of power among the nations. Adventure awaits you in a constantly changing world! The game world is greatly affected by the interactions of live players, and change is inevitable. Player’s trade activities will also affect the prices of goods.

III. Set out on great adventures with the companions you’ve met along the way.

While fulfilling a guilds’ request you’ll cooperate with fellow seafarers, cartographers and archaeologists to gather information, solve riddles and uncover hidden riches.

IV. Take to the high seas in your own ship!

Ships come in all sizes. To create your own vessel, you’ll select from different material qualities and armaments, as well as the number of sails and the crest you trade under.

V. Take to the high seas in high fashion!

Of course you’ll be able customize your character’s body type and hair, and choose from among the clothing and hats favored by the admirals and aristocrats of the day.

VI. A world of adventure that is faithful to history!

The signature landmarks of the cities you visit are all rendered in gorgeous detail from the Leaning Tower of Pisa to the Parthenon and the Pyramids!
