The Conker: Live and Reloaded Original Soundtrack features original musical compositions and arrangements by Robin Beanland who is best known for his music in Conker's Bad Fur Day, Killer Instinct, and Jet Force Gemini. Nile Rodgers, the music veteran and album producer said, "Robin's music for Conker: Live and Reloaded runs a zigzag course from snaptop groove guitar rock to wildly funny operatic parody." Rodgers also performs guitar on the cut 'Surf Punks.'
Furthermore, the soundtrack sports exclusive performances from guitar virtuoso Dweezil Zappa, son of the legendary Frank Zappa, and electronic dance trio Rabbit In The Moon. Commenting on these collaborations Rodgers said, "When I got a copy of Robin's track 'Surf Punks' I asked Dweezil if he wanted to play somebody else's song with me as a duet. He said cool and we just went into the studio and ripped it. I really respect people who can interpret other people's music."
Rodgers added, "Rare really took a cutting-edge leap by having Rabbit In The Moon remix and perform 'Rock Solid'. On the streets RITM are known for their over the top live performances as well their infectious beats."
Packaged with the CD is a free bonus DVD featuring exclusive bonus tracks, a hilarious "mockumentary" tracking Conker's illustrious career, exclusive desktop wallpaper and other Conker: Live and Reloaded content.
Release of the soundtrack follows the arrival on June 21, 2005 of gaming's notoriously naughty squirrel—Conker— in an all-new Xbox Live-enabled team-based shooter, Conker: Live and Reloaded. The game features intense Deathmatch and Campaign story line modes via Xbox Live and System Link, and players can compete as one of six combat specialists across multi-mission campaigns covering Old War and Future War. The warfare promises to deliver the non-stop action, humor, and innuendos Conker is famous for. In addition, the critically acclaimed single-player game, Conker's Bad Fur Day, has been completely recreated for Xbox® with stunning graphics, true 5.1 music and audio mixes and unparalleled attitude.
