Digital Jesters developer Kylotonn used the AGEIA physX SDK for all the physics-based content in Bet on Soldier: Blood Sport. In addition, Kylotonn included advanced features specifically designed for hardware acceleration by AGEIA's physX processor, which will be available on PC add-in boards by late 2005. Current and future Digital Jesters titles will also support the AGEIA physX processor, including Dogtag and Dogtag 2: Renegades.
"Our philosophy is simple at Digital Jesters -- we want to publish the best games available, and AGEIA is helping us fulfill that goal with the unrivalled physics capabilities of AGEIA physX technology," said Leo Zullo, marketing director and cofounder of Digital Jesters. "With several major releases right around the corner, we're anticipating an enthusiastic response to the physics capabilities in these new titles."
Bet on Soldier: Blood Sport is set for release in the U.K. on September 9th 2005, and in the U.S. on September 12th 2005. Dogtag is planned for release in May 2006.
"Digital Jesters is a leading games publisher in the UK and has a solid strategy for expanding internationally," said Andy Keane, vice president of marketing at AGEIA. "Their developers are first-rate and their commitment to new technology is unmatched, which makes Digital Jesters and AGEIA a great team for advancing the level of realism and excitement in tomorrow's game titles."
