Real Time Conflict: Shogun Empires features an original control scheme that lets players manage their armies using the system's touch screen. This intuitive system lets players give orders, change formations and select units with ease, leading to smooth, organized battles rarely seen outside of a PC real-time strategy game. In between conquests, players can take part in touch screen mini-games, such as castle sieges and sea battles. For the ultimate in feudal warfare, Real Time Conflict: Shogun Empires lets up to eight players go head to head in ferocious battles

These new screenshots highlight the intricate troop management, spectacular battles and thrilling mini-games that let players engage in naval strikes, stealthy ninja battles or full-on assaults with large-scale siege weaponry as they attempt to conquer and bring peace to feudal Japan. Virtual warriors will be able to achieve the title of supreme ruler this October when "Real Time Conflict: Shogun Empires" commands its way into retail stores.

In particular mini-games, such as the naval strike, players use an intuitive control scheme with the stylus to aim their ships weaponry at opposing foes. Players will need to defend certain areas of their ship by making sure they swiftly eliminate all opposing forces as quick as possible.

Developed exclusively for the Nintendo DS, "Real Time Conflict: Shogun Empires" makes full use of the DS’s dual-screens to provide players with a true real-time handheld strategy game. An intuitive touch screen control interface lets commanders easily manage their troops and execute advanced battlefield strategies. Players can choose to play as one of two rival warlords as they attempt to unify Japan and crush all challengers to their power. In pursuing their goal of total domination, players can obtain military supremacy through brute force or skilled diplomacy and take part in a series of mini games to weaken the. Players can even battle against friends using the Nintendo DS wireless link capabilities.
