'Prince of Persia 3' (ALL) Now Known As 'Prince of Persia The Two Thrones'

Blending the best features from the first two installments with the talent, vision and ingenuity of Ubisoft's development teams, Prince of Persia The Two Thrones, previously known as PoP Kindred Blades, will enliven the franchise with a vitality - and plenty of unexpected twists - that will impress and satisfy long-time fans and newcomers alike.

Scheduled to release December 2005, Prince of Persia The Two Thrones takes the best features from Prince of Persia The Sands of Time and Prince of Persia Warrior Within, and combines them with new gameplay elements such as a second playable character, an intuitive Speed Kill system, outdoor Babylon environment, chariot combat and more. With such favorite elements and major improvements, Prince of Persia The Two Thrones is poised to take the action-adventure gaming experience to a new level.

The Prince of Persia makes his way home to Babylon, bearing with him Kaileena, the enigmatic Empress of Time, and unspeakable scars from the Island of Time. But instead of the peace he longs for, he finds his kingdom ravaged by war and Kaileena the target of a brutal plot. When she is kidnapped, the Prince tracks her to the Palace ­ only to see her murdered by a poowerful enemy. Her death unleashes the Sands of Time, which strike the Prince and threaten to destroy everything he holds dear. Cast to the streets, hunted as a fugitive, the Prince soon discovers that the Sands have tainted him, too. They have given rise to a deadly Dark Prince, whose spirit gradually possesses him …
