'Steel Horizon' (NDS/PSP) Announced - Screens

Konami today announced Steel Horizon for the PSP and NDS, offering both turn-based and real-time strategy gameplay, offering players complete control of Naval fleets outfitted with a variety of ships such as battleships, aircraft carriers, cruisers, destroyers and submarines, both single player and wireless multiplayer modes.

Set during World War II and inspired by pulp novels, Steel Horizon reveals the events and characters behind the war’s outer façade. A mysterious organization pulls the world’s strings from behind the scenes using fantastic technology and the war itself to attain some mysterious agenda. As the American captain of one of three super-secret navy vessels, the player fights the organization and Axis forces in both naval theatres of war to uncover their true intentions, and maybe even save the world.

Steel Horizon delivers both turn-based and real-time strategy gameplay, offering players complete control of a naval armada outfitted with battleships, submarines, fighter planes and artillery. As the American captain of one of three super-secret navy vessels, the player fights the Axis powers and a sinister organization operating in the shadows of the great powers in 20 compelling missions, in both the Atlantic and Pacific theatres.
