Nyko Introduces New 'Zero' (PS2/PS3/X360/PC) Controller

Peripherals manufacturer Nyko Technologies unveiled Zero, its next-generation line of innovative and stylish controllers, which will initially become available for PS2, followed by a Xbox 360, PC and PS3 version.

Zero is truly a combination of style and performance. Featuring 2.4 GHz wireless technology, heat-dissipating aluminum panels, backlit buttons, and a unique ergonomic design, Zero aims to give gamers the most complete controller experience possible. Zero is powered by a rechargeable battery pack and comes complete with a USB charging cable. For a more customized experience, Zero will also be available in three distinct color schemes.

“We’ve brought together the best technology and materials available to create the ultimate in next-generation control while still offering maximum durability,” said Chris Arbogast, marketing manager at Nyko Technologies. “Instead of continuing the tradition of typical 3rd party controllers by only mimicking existing products, we crafted our own unique design based on what we determined next generation controllers should offer.”

Nyko will release Zero for the PlayStation 2 in early November for a suggested retail price of $49.99. Nyko will also release Zero for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in the following months.
