GTR 2 takes the franchise to new heights with a monumental 140+ accurately modelled cars from two full FIA GT seasons and a higher level of painstaking detail than ever seen before. The slightest scratch will show up on the pristine bodywork, and even mild collision damage to the chassis will alter the handling, while big crunches send debris flying spectacularly in all directions. Players can even see the brake discs visibly change colour as they get hotter beneath the rims. GTR 2 also features a driving school where players can take lessons on cornering, braking and overtaking techniques to help them on their breakneck journey to becoming the ultimate GT driver.
“GTR 2 has taken this incredibly strong franchise up the next level in terms of detail and realism, which is no mean feat given the exquisite GTR that preceded it,” said Cyril Voiron, Marketing Director, Atari Europe. “Europe’s media are already responding to this, lavishing comprehensive praise and fantastic review scores on this magnificent product.”
Published by 10Tacle Studios, developed by SimBin and distributed by Atari, GTR 2 is scheduled for release across Europe on 29th September 2006.
