SCi Returns to Profitability, Delays PS3 Development
by Rainier on Sept. 27, 2006 @ 11:04 a.m. PDT
SCi said the new Tomb Raider and Hitman titles helped it to swing back to profitability, as its its core earnings reached $54.58 million in the year to June 30, with a pretax profit of 179.1 million. SCi said that Sony's recent decision to delay the European launch of the PS3 until March 2007 has no affect as it has no plans to release any game on the platform until 2008.
