'UT 2007' (PS3/PC) Now Known As 'Unreal Tournament 3' Also On X360

by Rainier on Jan. 25, 2007 @ 1:09 p.m. PST

Unreal Tournament 3 is being developed by North Carolina-based Epic Games. The game promises to blow fans away with the gameplay, modifiability and visuals that Epic's Unreal Engine 3 technology will deliver. At a Las Vegas press event Midway revealed the name change (indicating a non-2007 release?), and that Epic's FPS is finally coming to Xbox 360.

Unreal Tournament 2007 will have dozens of new, unique levels covering diverse environments, along with an even bigger selection of playable characters. The game will feature seven game modes in total including one all-new game mode, several new vehicles and an armory full of weapons.
