New UK Production Company emote Games Formed

by Rainier on July 6, 2007 @ 12:01 a.m. PDT

emote Games is a specialist UK based Production Company established to work with brand owners and developers to grow intellectual property, maximise distribution and take advantage of the immense opportunities in cross platform development and digital distribution.

Unlike other production companies in the games and entertainment environment, emote offers finance for the development and production of a diverse range of projects across multiple formats, taking a financial stake in all the projects it gets involved in. With two major projects already underway emote are looking to acquire brand and development partners to fulfil its production capacity.

Morgan O'Rahilly, Founder and CEO; "The traditional stages to market have been eliminated by advances in digital distribution and console connectivity, while at the same time publishers, developers and brand holders face increasing production values and challenging risk vs. return profile, requiring them to leverage their brands across more devices and channels. We feel that the time is now right for the introduction of the production company model, where we can assist partners in exploiting their I.P. both operationally and financially".

The company's proprietary social games networking and character entertainment platform enables publishers and IP holders to add social-networking dimensions and mechanics to their brands. Currently working with leading entertainment companies to define and develop multi-platform services, emote are building the business through a combination of strategic partnerships to produce a balanced mix of projects based on established and emergent intellectual property.
