Cash-Strapped Brash Axes Employees, Licenses and Titles
by Rainier on Nov. 7, 2008 @ 10:32 a.m. PST
Brash Entertainment hasn't been living up to the hype it caused when it launched last year, so it comes as no surprise that it is the next victim of the weak economy. Variety claims Brash has laid off 20 employees, won't be filling open positions, is selling off some of its licenses, and from its slew of upcoming titles, only two remain "active," Six Flags Fun Park (Wii) and next year's SAW. What happened to titles such as Tale of Desperaux, 300, Clash of the Titans, or Prison Break is unknown, and it seems Brash was even working on a Superman game with Factor 5.
