Acer, who recently joined the PC Gaming Alliance and has acquired such brands as Gateway, eMachines, and Packard Bell, revealed in an interview that it has a game machine in mind, and that it will be based on "open standards," unlike the current generation of consoles which are closed and proprietary systems.
