Audiosurf is a music-adapting puzzle racer where you use your own music to create your own experience. The shape, the speed, and the mood of each ride is determined by the song you choose. Audiosurf topped the February sales charts for dollars and units sold via Steam topping The Orange Box and Counter-Strike.

Audiosurf is a music-adapting puzzle racer where you use your own music to create your own experience. The shape, the speed, and the mood of each ride is determined by the song you choose. You earn points for clustering together blocks of the same color on the highway, and compete with others on the internet for the high score on your favorite songs.

Audiosurf on Steam will include The Orange Box soundtrack, integrated with the game to enable "Still Alive" surfing and more. In addition, Audiosurf is one of the first titles to leverage the recently announced Steamworks, offering full support for the Steam Achievements that appear on the millions of Steam Community profile pages.

"The critics are calling Audiosurf one of the most innovative music games ever released. Sales of the title and the buzz across the Steam Community pages support those claims," said Jason Holtman, director of business development at Valve. "This kind of runaway success for an independent title is a tribute to Dylan's work and millions of informed gamers connecting via Steam each week."

Audiosurf, Dylan Fitterer's innovative new title that allows gamers to "ride their music," is now available via Steam for $9.95.
