Ex-Rainbow Studios Employees Form TimeFly Studios

Former Rainbow Studios employees Brad Ruminer, Dennis Booth, and Glenn O'Bannon announced they have created their own independent video game development company. Located in Arizona, TimeFly Studios will be developing games based on licensed property as well as original game concepts from action/adventure to rhythm games to puzzle games.

The studio will focus on addressing the issue of quality of life for its employees. "We have industry-standard pay and benefits plus some perks right now that very few small companies can provide," said Glenn O'Bannon, vice president. "And one of our founding principles is to maintain a fun family atmosphere no matter how big we get. We want people to have a blast working here!"

"It's important for today's games to look and sound amazing, but looks alone aren't enough. Our games will focus on gameplay first, to be supported and enhanced by spectacular visuals and audio," said Dennis Booth, president. On the issue of quality of life, he added "Design-oriented development with proper project management will allow us to develop games on-time and on-budget, while minimizing the long term 'crunch' periods traditionally associated with game development."

While at Rainbow Studios, the founders contributed to the development of games such as Motocross Madness, ATV Offroad Fury, Splashdown, and most recently the MX vs. ATV, and Disney/Pixar Cars video games. The founders have a combined development experience of over 30 years as engineers, artists, designers, managers and directors.

TimeFly Studios is licensed for development by Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo.
