Wednesday, April 16, 2008 Shipping Announcements

by Rainier on April 16, 2008 @ 4:49 p.m. PDT

Another day, another batch of games shipped to stores. Instead of giving them all their own posts, we grouped them, and so far there are announcements for:

Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys (NDS)

In Teenage Zombies, the Earth is under attack by a horde of Alien Brain… uh…Thingys! Humans, succumbing to ray-guns and mind-control, have failed to defend their planet and let it fall easily into the clutches of the Big Brain and his army of Alien Brain Thingys. The only hope left for mankind is three Teenage Zombies who ignore their normal human victims in favor of the pulsing pink brains they see EVERYWHERE - all the while being lured to the ultimate lunch: THE BIG BRAIN!

The Teenage Zombies consist of three unlikely and undead heroes, each with special abilities: Lori “Lefty” Lopez can attach various useful tools, such as a rivet gun or umbrella, to her missing arm; Finnigan “Fins” Magee can eat a number of items, like soap for instance, to ward off the brains with debilitating bubbles; and Zach “Half-pipe” Boyd can upgrade his skateboard with items, such as monster truck wheels, to drive over harmful terrain. Using all three characters, players need to utilize each of the Teenage Zombies’ unique abilities at the right time to make their way through to munch on the Big Brain himself.

Features:

  • A unique comic book style presentation
  • Hilarious dialogue and witty cut scenes
  • Switch between the three zombies on they fly to solve puzzles and levels
  • Unique power-ups for each Teenage Zombie
  • Loads of stylus-based mini-games, plus the diabolical Big Brain Challenges

Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys is rated E10+ and retails for $29.99.
