Players and fans of Cookie Jar Entertainment's web-based fantasy adventure game can now explore and enjoy the colorful Moonlands world with their friends as the game has expanded into a true multi-player experience. In the first major update since Magi-Nation: Battle for the Moonlands’ April 2008 launch, players can now see each other and interact via in-game chat, which is just one of several significant updates.
“Magi-Nation players and fans can now enjoy many exciting new elements to the game, including player chat that allows all Magi to directly communicate with each other in a safe, secure environment,” said Kenneth Locker, senior vice president of digital media, Cookie Jar Entertainment. “Magi-Nation: Battle for the Moonlands has been enthusiastically embraced by loyal Magi fans and newcomers alike, and we are absolutely thrilled to expand the online game world with these updates. By letting our players interact with and challenge one another, while remaining fully COPPA-compliant, we have successfully increased the game’s appeal without sacrificing our core commitment of providing an appropriate, family-friendly online adventure.”

Cookie Jar’s Magi-Nation online role-playing adventure is based on the popular children’s animated television series of the same name, which follows the adventures of 15-year-old Tony Jones, an average teen from Earth who finds himself mysteriously transported to the magical world of Magi-Nation. The free-to-play, web-based game is geared for children ages 8-14 and incorporates a micropayment model that allows players the flexibility to upgrade their gaming experience.
