Warner Boss Wants Music Games to Pay More Licensing Fees

Warner Music Group CEO Edgar Bronfman is not happy with the amount of money games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band pay for licensed songs according to Reuters, saying "The amount being paid to the music industry, even though their games are entirely dependent on the content we own and control, is far too small." Warner label Roadrunner however has stated before that artists' albums, such as DragonForce, have seen a noticeable sales increase after appearing in Guitar Hero III.
