In Cars Race-O-Rama, players will join Lightning McQueen and Chick Hicks in Radiator Springs as they prepare their academy of student racers to compete in the Race-O-Rama Racing Series. Players will encounter 15 newly playable characters making their video game debut. As they progress through the game, players will be able to unlock special racing kits for Lightning McQueen, allowing him to better maneuver brand new, action-packed tracks that will take players to metro city streets, the Baja desert and sandy beaches. In addition, players are able to modify Lightning McQueen’s wheels, rims, hood, side skirt, rear bumper, spoiler and paint with special customization features, giving Lightning a personalized style and look like never before. As players compete in this high-speed, racing adventure game, they will be able to utilize Lightning McQueen’s newly designed drifting abilities and perform “Ka-chow” poses for enthusiastic reporters and fans encountered throughout the game. Cars Race-O-Rama will also feature multiplayer mini-games based on Disney - Pixar’s Cars Toons, a series of animated shorts that are currently being aired on the Disney Channel.

Cars Race-O-Rama, rated E for Everyone, is now available on the Wii/X360/PS3 ($39.99), PSP/NDS ($29.99), and PS2 ($19.99).

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky (NDS)

This newest installment in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon video game series expands on the fun found in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness with new content, original storylines and more Pokémon for players to interact with. Players begin the game as one of 19 different hero Pokémon, which include five hero Pokémon not included in previous games. From there, players team up with partner Pokémon and set off on an adventure to save the world from destruction.

“The Pokémon franchise has delighted fans for more than a decade by providing unique video game experiences based on exploration, storytelling and social play,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky delivers an amazing adventure, with a touching storyline and memorable characters for players to enjoy.”

Throughout Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, players will interact with more than 490 other Pokémon in this dungeon-based role-playing game and uncover an immersive storyline by playing new Special Episodes. In these Special Episodes, players experience new stories through the eyes of some of the supporting characters that first appeared in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness.

The game also includes a number of interactive elements that let players connect with one another. Players can send a demo dungeon to a friend’s Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi system over a local wireless connection, or access special missions over Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection via wireless broadband Internet access. Up to two players can also trade items over a local wireless connection.
