Sudoku Student and Sudoku Master, the first downloadable Sudoku games for Nintendo DSiWare will provide challenging puzzles for all players of all levels, both games feature individually hand crafted puzzles made by celebrated Sudoku innovator Nikoli.

“We are delighted to be the first publisher to develop downloadable Sudoku games for the Nintendo DSiWare,” said Sabine Duvall, vice president of product development at Hudson Entertainment. “The new DSiWare platform will enable us to create new titles like Sudoku Student and Sudoku Master at a very affordable price point.”

Unlike many Sudoku games, Sudoku Student and Sudoku Master will enable the player to select the appropriate level based on their skills. Each puzzle in both titles was hand crafted by Nikoli, the Japanese puzzle company that popularized Sudoku in the mid 1980s. For Sudoku beginners, both Sudoku Student and Sudoku Master will feature a tutorial mode with how-to instructions on solving puzzles. Sudoku Master will feature a class certification mode, which tests advanced players’ puzzle solving abilities and rates their skill levels.
