In Golfstar, a golf MMOG with impressive graphics, a staggering 30 players can form a group to play a round on one of the game's six courses. And the best part: you don't have to wait for the other guy to finish his turn.

Golfstar invites players to experience the fascinating world of golf. Up to 30 players can play together in a group and choose from six courses that all present a different level of difficulty. There are also five playing modes to choose from.

To reach the top of the rankings, players will first have to build their characters. Attributes like stamina and strength can continually be improved and active skills can be mastered. To do so, players will need a bit of skill: the right combination of buttons has to be entered in the right order to hit the ball just right.

Individuality is key in Golfstar. Players can put together their dream set of clubs and make their favorite putter as perfect as possible thanks to the game’s comprehensive upgrading system. But the golf bag isn't the only space for creativity in Golfstar: four different characters bring closets full of clothing. Players can pick outfits to customize their virtual alter ego. From a Casual Friday look to a more formal pin-striped suit get-up, the combinations are endless.

Golfstar is set apart by its focus on community features and the possibility to play for first place against up to 30 players. The multilingual server structure allows golfers from around the globe to compete against each other in tournaments or events - regardless of which language version they're playing.

Athletic challenges and cooperation are in the foreground in Golfstar. With each level up, stats like power, control and stamina can be improved, which directly influences the character's performance. A variety of tasks accompany would-be pro-golfers during their golfing career. Players can join together to form guilds, then level their guild up and participate in competitions for handsome prizes. In the practice area players will find a driving range and a putting green where they can train and improve their skills. Getting started is easy thanks to the comprehensive tutorial.

A wide selection of clothing and accessories means there is plenty of room to show personality. This means players can choose a unique outfit so their friends will be able to recognize them right away in the square. The selection ranges from cool and sporty outfits to standard golf apparel in argyle and with ankle-high socks.

Closed beta testing for Golfstar will start in English. German, French and Spanish will follow.
