'AionGuard' (PS3/X360) Canceled Before It Got Officially Announced
by Rainier on Feb. 26, 2010 @ 7:02 p.m. PST
While never officially announced, last year it was revealed that Avalanche was working on an all-new game AionGuard, described as a mix of WWI dogfighter pilots, Samurai and medieval knights, where you control armies of thousands, and pilot-able dragons as you wage war against the Nazurbaal, who are harvesting the world's magical powers. In a recent interview CEO Christofer Sundberg revealed that the game has been shelved after several years of development, and further states more games should get canceled, titles such as Avatar.
