Blood Bowl (PSP)

A faithful adaptation of the legendary Games Workshop tabletop game, Blood Bowl lets handheld game fans can tackle opponents in bloodthirsty matches on the go.

Blood Bowl, a hard-hitting turn-based game in the style of American football, keeps players on the edge of their seats with each play determined by strategic thinking and the roll of dice. Players can crush their multiplayer rivals until the grass turns red, utilizing the PSP system’s ad-hoc wireless mode or swap plays on the same system in hot-seat mode. Players can create ferocious custom or classic tabletop-inspired teams of Humans, Orcs, Wood Elves and more. Numerous single-player options are also available, including a full-fledged campaign to dominate the Blood Bowl world one cup at a time.

“We’re thrilled to release the first portable offering in the Blood Bowl video game lineup,” said Richard Iggo, VP of Marketing at SouthPeak and Head Coach of the SouthPeak Skaven. “We’re always looking for excuses to ‘practice’ around the office and so far, injuries have been acceptable, with only one fatal maiming slowing down an otherwise good sales meeting.”

Blood Bowl, released in January for the Xbox 360 and PC, is available for the suggested retail price of $29.99 and is rated T for Teen by the ESRB
