by Rainier on Aug. 24, 2010 @ 12:51 p.m. PDT

Party of Sin is a cooperative platformer that allows you to inhabit one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Escape from hell and shoot your way across four mythical worlds to earn your place in heaven. Along the way, you will fight hordes of angels with bows, shotguns and grenade launchers.

Party of Sin is a cooperative game will provide up to four players the option of controlling one of the Seven Deadly Sins: Envy, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Pride, Sloth and Wrath. Each Sin provides the gamer with a unique power to battle the never-ending horde of angels, abilities that can help or hinder your team. Players, along with their friends, will be charged with the task of escaping from the gates of Hell and fighting their way into Heaven.

Party of Sin reinvents well known religious mythology by turning it upside down. An innovative art style will paint the environment and animated backdrops will bring context to each battle. Each Sin’s physical appearance is designed to express their personality. Enjoy the seductiveness of Lust or the beastliness of Wrath.

The traditional bible settings found in Party of Sin will be artistically remastered to give the player a fresh feel and put to rest visual clichés.

Party of Sin will expose players to four unique worlds, each with their own set of enemies. As the level progresses, players will have to juggle their relationship with fellow sins and decide whether to steal points with their special abilities or work together to overcome adversary. Dan Menard explains: “We want players to work together, but also doubt their friend next to them. Tripping up fellow sins on your way to victory is a great deal of fun.” There will be a variety of feelings when playing the game and everyone will have their own story to tell.
