'Hollywood Files: Deadly Intrigues' (NDS) Announced

by Rainier on April 27, 2011 @ 12:01 a.m. PDT

Hollywood Files Deadly Intrigues is a hidden object game that blends an intriguing storyline with an array of fun mini-games, to bring one of the most captivating detective adventures to the handheld console.

In Hollywood Files Deadly Intrigues players are thrown in to the frantic life of Zoey, a private investigator and owner of a thriving detective agency in Hollywood. The game’s plot revolves around the death of Peter, a famous actor involved in a freak car accident.  Players are embroiled into this sensational ‘murder’ case as one of their clients, Robert Danson, becomes a prime suspect in the police investigation – so they must uncover the truth by collecting clues and solving the entangled mysteries that lie ahead.

Hollywood Files Deadly Intrigues features 30 levels of hidden object gameplay, set across three chapters narrated in a comic book style.  In each chapter, there will be a number of objectives and hidden secrets - players must fulfil and uncover as many of these as possible.  By using and combining the hidden objects they find, players can advance through the story and get one step closer to unravelling the mysteries surrounding the case.   Mini-games also play a significant part in Hollywood Files Deadly Intrigues as players will need to complete a range of puzzle and skill types to gain access to certain objects, locations and levels.

Easy Interactive Managing Director, Michel van Elmpt comments, “Hollywood Files: Deadly Intrigues is unlike any other hidden object game, setting itself apart by incorporating an incredibly gripping murder mystery plot that will keep players in suspense throughout”.  He adds, “Easy Interactive is dedicated to publishing games that appeal to a broad audience and Most Wanted Entertainment’s game are a perfect fit.  We’ve worked with them previously on a number of DS titles including Mystery Tales – Time Travel and Treasures of Montezuma, both of which were warmly welcomed by the UK casual gaming audience, so we’re confident Hollywood Files: Deadly Intrigues will have the same appeal.
