The Ultimate Konami Fan Challenge highlights Konami franchise favorites such as Castlevania, DanceDanceRevolution, Frogger, Karaoke Revolution, Metal Gear Solid, Pro Evolution Soccer, & Silent Hill, and offers fans 3 different ways to win!
To enter the Sweepstakes for a chance to win an iPad 2, Konami Facebook fans simply click the Sweepstakes link and submit their name, age, country of residence and email address to be registered for a random drawing. An iPad 2 bundled with classic games like Frogger, MGS, and PES will be given away each day of the E3 show and during Konami's pre-show event.
To enter the Contest for a chance to win the Konami game and console of one's choice, Konami Facebook fans simply click the Contest link, select their favorite Konami game franchise from the seven listed, and submit up to 100 words about why they love it. A winner for each of the seven franchises listed will be chosen based on all fan submissions.
In addition, all eligible Contest participants are also eligible to win the grand prize VIP trip to E3 and the crown of "Ultimate Konami Fan." Participants can enter for a chance to win this prestigious honor by submitting a photo via the Contest link that shows why they should be considered as the ultimate Konami fan. The grand prize trip includes round-trip airfare to Los Angeles, hotel accommodations, a VIP pass to the E3 show, and their own pocket video camera to document their exciting experience. Six finalists for the grand prize will be selected based on all contest submissions. These final six submissions will then be displayed on the Contest site where Konami fans themselves will choose the overall winner by voting for their favorite submission.
Lastly, all Konami Facebook fans around the world have the unique opportunity to help shape Konami's coverage of E3. To participate, fans can simply click the E3 Insider application and cast their votes for which content areas they want Konami to focus on during E3.
The Ultimate Konami Fan Challenge Sweepstakes begins May 5, 2011 and concludes June 5, 2011. The Contest entry period begins on May 5, 2011 and ends on May 12, 2011. The open voting period for the Contest begins on May 16, 2011 and ends May 22, 2011. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. Eligible Sweepstakes participants must be the age of majority in their state, province, or territory and be residents of the United States, Canada (excluding Quebec), or Chile.
