'Proun' Gets Dated, Priced As Whatever You Want To Pay - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on June 15, 2011 @ 12:30 p.m. PDT

Proun is a strange racing game in a world of geometric objects and large coloured surfaces. You avoid obstacles by rotating around a cable in order to gain as much speed as possible.

There is no up or down; there is only the cable to which you are attached. Proun is a unique game that was inspired by early 20th century abstract artists like Kandinsky, El Lissitzky and Mondriaan. Proun has already been exhibited in several modern art museums and is now finally ready to be released on PC!

Key Features:

  • fast racing action
  • unique abstract graphics
  • 5 tracks to race through
  • championship mode
  • 4 speeds to unlock, from relaxed to insanely fast and hardcore
  • 2 to 4 player splitscreen, with joystick support
  • race against all your previous ghosts in time trial
  • online highscores
  • highly moddable: exporters are shipped with the game and the first tracks by modders have already been made!

Proun will be available as Pay What You Want, so you can choose how much you want to pay for it. Really like it? Pay for it! Just want to give it a quick try? Then don't pay and just download for free! Feel guilty afterwards because the game turns out to be more awesome than what you paid for? Buy it again!

Those who actually pay something for Proun, will also get an additional bonus track, so if you like it, then paying something will give just that little bit extra.
