'Portal 2' (ALL) Gets In Motion DLC For PlayStation Move

by Rainier on Nov. 1, 2012 @ 2:39 p.m. PDT

Portal 2 introduces players to a host of fresh puzzles and devious new test chambers in never-before-seen areas of Aperture Science Labs. It also reunites them with GLaDOS, the occasionally murderous computer companion from the original Portal.

Portal 2 is a hilariously mind-bending adventure that challenges you to use wits over weaponry in a funhouse of diabolical science.

Portal 2 In Motion introduces gameplay mechanics, including scaling and rotation of objects as well as portal surfing. These new abilities are all required as the player progresses through an increasingly challenging set of test chambers that look familiar from Portal 2, but require new thinking to solve.

Portal 2 In Motion will be available on November 6th, 2012 for $9.99 on PSN (Playstation + members get 30% off).

The launch of Portal 2 In Motion will coincide with Valveā€™s release of Portal 2 for digital download on PlayStation Network, which now includes PlayStation Move support (implemented by Sixense) for the entire single-player and cooperative campaigns.

Using a highly experimental portal device, you'll once again face off against a lethally inventive, power-mad A.I. named GLaDOS. And this time you won't be alone. Meet an expanded cast of characters as you think your way through dangerous, never-before-seen areas of Aperture Laboratories.

Break the laws of spatial physics in ways you never thought possible, with a wider variety of portal puzzles and an expansive story that spans a single player and co-operative game mode.

The game's two-player cooperative mode features its own entirely separate campaign with a unique story, test chambers, and two new player characters. This new mode forces players to reconsider everything they thought they knew about portals. Success will require them to not just act cooperatively, but to think cooperatively.
