'Ridge Racer Unbounded' (ALL) Soundtrack Turns Up Electronic Bass To 11

Ridge Racer Unbounded takes the series in whole new direction by adding a punishing dose of destruction to the familiar arcade gameplay.

The newest installment of the smash racing franchise aims to shake up the genre by breaking all the rules and a plenty of cars along the way.  Get ready to take the action off the circuits and into the streets for one of the most action-packed and destructive racing games ever seen.

Players will careen through the competition using their four-wheeled street-racing thoroughbreds as high-octane wrecking machines with a new mantra – Drive, Destroy, Dominate.

In single player mode, players must impress Kara Shindo, leader of the Unbounded gang, to develop street cred in Shatter Bay through high-speed destruction.  Domination Race encourages players to destroy everything in sight including rival cars, the environment and other traffic on the road.  Survival Race gives the player one car and one chance to avoid destruction to finish in first place.  Additional game modes include action focused on just taking out other cars, drifting and dueling.

Licensed music on Ridge Racer Unbounded comes from recent GRAMMY Award-winning dubstep producer Skrillex, with the tracks ‘Kill Everybody’ and ‘Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites’, plus US electronica duo The Crystal Method and drum & bass collaborators Noisia & The Upbeats.  Other additions to the sonic soundscape come from Scratch Perverts, Unknown Error, OVERSEER and newcomers RuN RiOT and Ever Never.

Keeping one wheel firmly in the musical heritage of Ridge Racer, the game features a selection of tracks by Hiroshi Okubo from throughout the 18 year history of the series, starting with the very first Ridge Racer right up to Ridge Racer 7.  To complete the game’s auditory assault, Hiroshi Okubo and his team at Namco Bandai Games Inc in Japan have created a number of completely original tracks for Ridge Racer Unbounded, destined to keep the sonic fires of Ridge Racer burning brighter than ever.
