In Killzone: Shadow Fall, you’ll serve as a Shadow Marshal under Vektan Security Agency director Sinclair, who has you perform the difficult missions that ensure the balance remains tipped in favor of the Vektans. But Echo, an intelligence operative for the Helghast, has similar orders – and she will stop at nothing to accomplish them.
While Guerrilla Games revealed that game has gone gold, during a recent Q&A Game Director Steven Ter Heide unveiled that:
The Killzone: Shadow Fall campaign will not have a co-op mode. However, Guerrilla Games are planning to release a separate Online Co-op Expansion Pack after launch; it will add a new wave-based game mode, in which up to four players take on hordes of enemies in special arena maps.
Guerrilla Games currently have no plans for split-screen support
Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer will not have any vehicles (such as Exoskeletons or Jetpacks) at launch. Guerrilla Games wanted to ensure that player-created, custom Warzones work on all multiplayer maps, and the inclusion of vehicles would have introduced too many new variables and exceptions to guarantee this.
Guerrilla Games have no plans for connectivity between Killzone: Mercenary (Vita) and Killzone Shadow Fall.
Killzone: Shadow Fall currently has no PlayStation Move and/or Stereoscopic 3D support.
