They might not be the most pleasant-looking creatures, but they are definitely a fierce bunch of savage and bloodthirsty warriors. By plaguing the civilized races, Orcs have always been a major threat to humans, elves and dwarfs. Laying claim to the area in the northern half of the old Tower District, Orcs have made the Cloak Tower in Neverwinter their home. Even the most courageous heroes will have to fight their way through the ruins of this district to put an end to the Orc domination and help restore Neverwinter to her former glory.

Deep within the stronghold of Helm’s Hold, devils and fiendish creatures call it home. How these creatures came about was a mystery for the longest time – until now.

Victims of the tragic Spellplague have openly been accepted into Helm’s Hold because it was a sanctuary and safe haven. They believed they would be treated for their illness and be among equal within Helm’s Hold. However, a horrific truth was discovered after strange creatures, called devils, began making their presence known throughout Helm’s Hold.

The victims soon discovered the town was under the control of a devil-worshipping cult led by their Prophet, a traitorous Succubus called Rohini. Helm’s Hold was no longer a safe harbor. Heroes and heroines of the Forgotten Realms had to band together and stop the cult’s plans, save those it would sacrifice and the holy place they would profane, and slay Rohini and her minions.

As you embark on your adventures through Neverwinter, be extremely wary of these foul creatures. They appear in various manifestations and sizes throughout Helm’s Hold. They are also often accompanied by imps and erinyes, attacking in groups to eliminate reckless adventurers with ease.

They can also be found in the depths of the Lair of the Mad Dragon. This is where the green, and fearfully imposing, dragon known as Chartilifax resides and is charmed by Rohini. To make Helm’s Hold safe again for countless incoming Spellplague victims, brave adventurers must slay the dragon and retrieve one of Rohini’s artifacts, known as the Hex Locus. Only when Rohini is slain will Helm’s Hold find peace and become the sanctuary it once was. Are you brave enough to slay Rohini and her devils?
