de Blob 2 is an action puzzle title set to deliver a fun-filled, creative gameplay experience for players of all ages, featuring new moves, more friends, and free-form painting activities.Nordic Games has closed an asset purchase agreement with THQ Inc. and THQ International GmbH to acquire the intellectual property “de Blob”.
After its initial release for PC in 2006 by a group of students at the Utrecht School of the Arts and Utrecht University, THQ released it on the Nintendo Wii system in 2008 and received broad critical acclaim. In 2011 de Blob 2 was released on PS3, X360 and Wii which introduced a new 2D platforming mechanic in addition to the existing gameplay mechanics.
