'Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare' (ALL) Garden Variety Pack DLC Announced - Screens

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare delivers an action experience in a massive 3-D world. The title features four-player co-op and 24-player competitive modes. Blast zombies, plants and characters across an animated PvZ landscape.

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, powered by the Frostbite3 engine, digs into the trenches to deliver an explosive new action experience. Players will take on the roles of plants and zombies across a mine-blowing world that delivers all the depth of a traditional action game blended with the refreshing humor of Plants vs. Zombies.

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare features , three-dimensional worlds, blooming with vibrant colors and unique landscapes. The game has more than 10 maps and three distinct modes including two 12v12 competitive multiplayer modes called Garden & Graveyards and Team Vanquish, and a four-player co-operative mode called Garden Ops. In Garden & Graveyards, plants must defend their garden bases from zombies attempting to turn them into spooky graveyards. Players can also square off in Team Vanquish as they try to send the other team to the compost pile. For gamers that just want to have a fun time with their friends, they can work together in Garden Ops battling off waves of zombies on the attack.

On Xbox One, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare includes two extra modes including local cooperative split screen and Boss Mode. With split screen, players can team up with a friend on the couch to fight against an endless horde of zombies. In Boss Mode, gamers can utilize their Kinect or a SmartGlass device in any of the other gameplay modes to support their teams. Players have a top-down view of the battlefield and can help out their teammates with intel, health drops, revive stations and explosive artillery strikes.


The Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare Garden Variety Pack brings even more bizarre fun with the new 8v8 “Gnome Bomb” gameplay mode, the option to customize your load out with 24 new ability upgrades and an all-new map, Chomp Town.

The Garden Variety Pack features 24 new ability upgrades, three for each class including Sunflower’s Solar Flare Beam, Chomper’s Super Goop which cements zombies in place and the All-Star Zombie’s Ultra Tackle. These upgrades give players even more load out options for battle in the fun-dead field. The Garden Variety Pack also introduces the explosive Gnome Bomb mode that challenges plants and zombies to work together to destroy each other’s reinforced garden or graveyard. Players can explore a new funtastic map, and encounter a band of fresh Pirate Zombies, such as the Map Pirate Zombie who shields himself with a treasure map, in Sharkbite Shores and Port Scallywag.

the Garden Variety Pack (DLC) will be available for free starting March 18 on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
