Whether providing policing and escort duties, harvesting resources or responding to random encounters – or even all at once – the dynamic gameplay of Shallow Space gives players the freedom to direct their own authentic space adventure on multiple fronts.
Shallow Space made its debut on IndieDB earlier this year and after registering for the Steam Greenlight program in June, Shallow Space was approved and 'Greenlit' in just six days.
"I'm blown away by the reaction to the Shallow Space concept and footage", says an excited James Martin. "It's awesome to see so many gamers sharing our vision for a great sci-fi RTS after months of work. 16 million gamers use Steam (myself included) and I’m very proud to join the title’s on there."
Shallow Space is powered by the Unity 3D engine and upgrades are already planned for many of the models and particle effects seen in the pre-alpha footage. A thrilling back story with a vivid timeline is currently being crafted by emerging author John Harper, who recently enjoyed success with his officially licensed Elite: Dangerous novel, Elite: And Here The Wheel.
