Starbreeze announced that it has signed an agreement for the sale of its game “Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons” for a total sum of US$ 500 000 in cash. The game has sold more than a total of 800.000 units worldwide during its lifetime. The transaction includes both the full entitlement to the game as well as related trademarks and domain names.
“The sale represents our final transition to the digital strategy. With Brothers we’ve created a strong and critically acclaimed IP, which we now feel can be best nurtured under a new owner. Going forward, we will continue development focused on expansive design, a concept proven with the PAYDAY-franchise.
