'EverQuest' Titles Getting New Expansions - Screens

by Rainier on Oct. 2, 2015 @ 2:20 p.m. PDT

Daybreak Games revealed two new expansions for EverQuest, EverQuest: The Broken Mirror and EverQuest II: Terrors of Thalumbra.

Pre-ordering each respective title will grant access to previous expansion releases available within each specific game, along with admission to the expansions’ beta servers and a bonus in-game item, both of which are expected in late October.

Everquest: The Broken Mirror is the 22nd expansion to the original EverQuest, introducing a gripping adventure against the fallen goddess Anashti Sul, whose thirst for power threatens to consume all of Norrath.

The new expansion delivers four entirely new expansion zones, three revamped zones, and instanced versions of the Plane of Hate and Plane of Fear that scale for level 75-105 raids. There are also new quests, heroic adventures, missions, bonus raids, spells, AAs (Alternate Advancements), and an Illusion Key Ring for easy illusion access. EverQuest: The Broken Mirror will officially release on Nov. 18.

As the 12th expansion to EverQuest II, Terrors of Thalumbra pierces deep below Norrath to Thalumbra, a vast, subterranean domain which has kept hidden fabled races and horrors for eons.

This new overland zone features special quests for Adventure and Tradeskill players, level-agnostic dungeons that scale for players 20-95, a new contested zone, and a realm of heroic dungeons, advance solo dungeons, and raid zones for level 100s. It also introduces the Item Infusion system for upgrading items, an improved Deity system and new best-in-slot relics. EverQuest II: Terrors of Thalumbra will fully launch on Nov. 17.

Both EverQuest: The Broken Mirror and EverQuest II: Terrors of Thalumbra are available to pre-order now on PC for $34.99 at each game’s respective site, giving you access to to the expansions’ beta servers and a bonus in-game item, both of which are expected in late October. Collector’s Edition and Premium Edition bundles for each title are also available for $89.99 and $139.99, respectively.
