'Fenix Rage' (ALL) Now Called 'Fenix 4@93'

by Rainier on Nov. 9, 2015 @ 8:40 a.m. PST

Fenix Furia is a new 2D hardcore platformer with stylish retro roots and obsessive level-based challenges.

Step into the fast shoes of Fenix, a really sweet creature of speed and (blocky) cuteness… then feel his boundless rage. He is pissed! You would be too if your village was decimated by a huge explosion, leaving only two survivors: Fenix and the mysterious enemy Oktarus. Fenix will track down this shadowy villain through nine worlds, defeating righteously brutal bosses and hundreds of minions bent on his destruction, on a mission to return order and harmony back to his world.

An inspired and frenetically-paced 2D platformer, Fenix Rage tests players’ ability to run, jump, and dash their way through a maze of dangerous obstacles, across hundreds of lightning-paced levels, all in an effort to track down a shadowy villain.  Loads of different enemies, slick retro-inspired music, vivid level landscapes await gamers with the mettle to play. Players will struggle mightily to climb the Leaderboard with the best time and fewest deaths and then rub it in the face of their friends.

With brand new features, play modes, and fine-tuned gameplay, the frenzied platform experience everyone loved on PC has been perfected for current-gen consoles.

Due to legal reasons, the Fenix 4@93 game name has to change for the PS4 and Xbox One versions, courtesy of an unmentioned game corporation that has claimed specific naming rights to the word 4@93. The three-man Costa Rican team at Green Lava is disappointed in all this legal wrangling, but is not deterred from bringing its wicked-style of gaming fun to consoles this holiday season.

Fenix Rage is currently available on PC via Steam for $14.99.
