'Our Nation's Miner' Seeks Crowd Funding - Screens & Trailer

Our Nation's Miner is an open-world, role-playing game that's set in a dystopian future that's overrun by various societies.

In Our Nation's Miner, the player takes on the role of a miner, trying to make a life out of a disintegrating dystopian society. It merges various forms of gameplay - mine resources in space from an asteroids-like perspective, then walk around processing facilities, space stations, apartments and planet surfaces from a detailed third-person perspective.

You, as the player, get to take on the role of a free-flying nomad caught up in the midst of a damaged empire; all the while doing just what you need to survive.

Create / Customize your own character, morph / re-shape and color your own collection of ships and take to the badlands to harvest resources, discover new lifeforms, craft new weaponry, steal new ships and items, trade a barrage of randomized items - take to the stars to find rare, exotic artifacts and technologies.

Lord Bytesworth has launched a Kickstarter campaign, looking for £30,000, to finish development of Our Nation's Miner.

Fans interested in supporting the game can also vote for it via its Steam Greenlight campaign

Key Fatures:

  • Heavy Customization - morph ships and create your own character.
  • Hybrid Gameplay - step in and out of nostalgia as you traverse the Universe in various ways.
  • Chemically-Inspired Crafting - Hundreds of resources, thousands of basic elements to use for crafting.
