With Ghost Recon Online, Ubisoft is delivering the most social, connected and customizable Ghost Recon experience yet. The game offers players the ability to choose between three different classes of Ghost, customize their weapons, deploy cutting-edge military technology, and share intel with their team. Ghost Recon Online also features a rich lobby platform for hosting social and persistent progression features. Ubisoft also will back the game with a full set of services, including regular events and game content updates, customized content based on community feedback, and live support.
The online features complement Ghost Recon Online’s rich graphical environments and maps, which rival the quality of those traditionally seen only in retail games. And while the game is free for anyone to play, players also can purchase premium items and fully personalize their experience.
Ubisoft announced a month-long celebration for the 1-year Anniversary of the launch of its free-to-play PC shooter, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Phantoms®. The anniversary starts with a jam-packed week of specials and events and ends with the release of a new game mode, Team Deathmatch.
Team Deathmatch is the first totally new game mode since open beta, and combines the tactical team play of Ghost Recon Phantoms with the fast-paced, familiar action of classic shooters. This new mode allows players to experience the same maps they know and love in a whole new way. With initially two maps available for Team Deathmatch, more maps will be added over time. This game mode is completely free to play and available in public, private and clan matches. More info on the Team Deathmatch mode will be revealed throughout the month.
Starting today, Ghost Recon Phantoms will celebrate its first birthday with three weeks of events, complete with bonus XP/AC week, Steam sales, community events with prizes sponsored by Mionix and more. On April 10th, all players are invited to complete the 1-day only Birthday event to score the exclusive birthday avatar.
