'D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die' (ALL) Details PC Changes, System Specs - Screens

by Rainier on May 1, 2015 @ 9:29 a.m. PDT

D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die is an episodic noir mystery where the protagonist can go back in time, try to use this ability to solve his wife's murder and prevent it from ever occurring.

D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die tells the story of a man with a very strange fate. His name is David Young – formerly with the Boston PD Narcotics Unit, now a private detective. He possesses the supernatural ability to “dive” into the world of the past by touching left-behind items called “mementos.” Two years ago, Young’s wife was killed by an unknown assailant. In her last breath, she told him to “Look for D.” From that moment on, the search for 'D' became Young's whole life – nothing more, nothing less.

The game is largely divided into adventure or action sequences. The adventure portions of the game involve investigating suspicious areas of the area you’re in and finding clues to the mystery. The action sequences are all about taking action as the protagonist using your mouse, dodging objects or fighting other characters.

It has a serious backstory that’s contrasted against a cast of quirky characters. D4 is certainly a unique and bewildering experience.

We already revealed that D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die Season One (3 episodes) is coming to PC, and now Access Games has provided us with specific PC details (since D4 was originally a Kinect driven game).
