by Rainier on July 31, 2015 @ 1:27 p.m. PDT

Set in the classic Warhammer 40,000 universe from Games Workshop, Regicide weaves rich lore with strategic gameplay in a series of action-packed battles for dystopian glory.

Warhammer 40k: Regicide is a new take on one of the most established strategy games of all time, evoking the grim setting of the iconic Warhammer 40,000 universe and hearkening to the roots of traditional gaming. Regicide fuses brutal action with turn-based tactical combat in the war-torn dark future of Warhammer 40,000.

Warhammer 40k: Regicide showcases a tactical, single-player Blood Angels campaign. It also features a cross-platform multiplayer experience. Go to war anytime, anywhere against opponents worldwide as traditional gaming meets highly detailed production.

Regicide will feature all three-acts of their 50 mission story-driven campaign, many new tactical abilities, a full tier upgrade system for units, and a barrage of additional fan-requested features, refinements and, improvements!

In act 1, fight your way through the first 10 missions of our epic 50-mission single-player Campaign alongside Captain Dracomedes and his loyal Blood Angels.

The Regicide release-day update will include the highly-anticipated Armoury where players can unlock new abilities to take into battle, an XP & levelling system, and a new unit upgrade system that allows players to Tier up their units.

This is only the beginning. The universe spans untold galaxies to conquer.

This is not just war. This is Regicide.
