During the day, players will traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing infected population. At night, the hunter becomes the hunted, as the infected become aggressive and more dangerous. Most frightening are the predators which only appear after sundown. Players must use everything in their power to survive until the morning's first light.

This weekend (October 28th - 30th, 2016) Techland will run its Halloween Community Bounty event, a global Be the Zombie event titled "Zombiefest."

All “Zombiefest” participants will be awarded a Gold-tier weapon. Additionally, shortly after the event new ranks for both the victors and the defeated will be introduced to reflect the final result. The new ranks include Crippled Carnivore, Mutilated Stalker, Superior Challenger, Savage Widow Maker, Hunted Hunter, Indisputable Apex Predator, and more.

The cumulative kills for both Survivors and Night Hunters are tracked live globally to discover once and for all which side is the real predator, the new ranks will be active for 3 weeks. The event runs from October 28th, 12 PM to October 30th, 11:30 PM (Pacific Time). All players across PC, PS4 and Xbox One can take part.
